Our Story
Sicily to Baton Rouge, 1966
Gino's was founded by the Marino family, originally from Sicily, in 1966. The restaurant operated on Perkins Road before moving to its current home at 4542 Bennington Avenue in 1975, where it has stayed for over 55 years.
The Baton Rouge Epicurean Society named an annual award after the family's matriarch, whose portrait hangs in the dining room, a quiet reminder of who this table has always been for.
